Typhoon Wreaks Havoc in Shanghai

Becca, the 13th typhoon of the season, was a strong typhoon with maximum sustained winds of 140 kilometers per hour (87 miles per hour) and a central pressure of 955 millibars, making it the strongest typhoon to hit Shanghai since 1949.
Meteorologists warn that the worst of the storm is yet to come, with heavy rain and possible thunderstorms expected throughout the day. Rainfall could reach torrential levels in some areas, before gradually tapering off in the evening.
